These terms apply when you order from Family Trust Online at familytrustonline.co.za. By placing an order you accept them.
1. Who we are
Family Trust Online is operated by Sendbox (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2016/363741/07. The CEO is a CA(SA)

2. The service
We register family trusts with the Master of the High Court and (Pty) Ltd companies with CIPC. Our packages are only for trusts registered at the Master’s Office in Johannesburg or Pretoria and you must therefore be able to provide an address within Gauteng.
- Package 1: trust only for R4 500. You select your own independent trustee.
- Package 2: trust only for R4 500 plus our Independent Professional Trustee* at R750 per month by debit order.
- Package 3: trust and company for R5 000. You select your own independent trustee.
- Package 4: trust and company for R5 000, plus our Independent Professional Trustee* at R750 per month by debit order.
*If you want to protect the trust assets from your creditors it is essential to appoint an Independent Professional Trustee.
If you do not appoint an Independent Professional Trustee, you must appoint at least one independent trustee (not a relative).
3. Scope of the package
The price of the trust covers the trust deed, up to 5 named beneficiaries, 2 to 5 trustees and no amendments to the deed except those arising out of your responses to our questionnaires.
The price of the company covers a single application for up to 4 names, the appointment of directors, share certificates, securities register, registration of address and registration with SARS.
Anything outside this scope is not part of the package.
Additional after-registration services are available via our associate company.
4. What the fee includes

5. Payment
You pay the fee online at checkout through our secure payment provider. Work starts immediately payment is received.
6. Independent Professional Trustee
The Independent Professional Trustee fee is R750 per month, collected by debit order. It starts on the 3rd of the month after the Letters of Authority are issued. You may cancel by email by the 25th of any month to avoid the following debit order. The trustee fee is not charged at checkout.
The signed debit order instruction must be received prior to submission to the Master.
The appointment does not include any professional services.
7. Timing
Registration typically takes a few weeks after submission. It depends on the Master’s Office so we do not guarantee timelines.
8. Your responsibilities
You must give us complete and accurate information, provide the identity and other documents the authorities require and sign and return documents promptly.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Failure to provide requested information, signatures or documents within a month of the request can lead to cancellation of the job without refund.
If you cancel the job for any reason, there is no refund.
10. No advice

This is an economy package and comes without consultation or advice.

11. Liability
Our trust deed is of the highest quality, easily surpassing that of most attorneys. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that the trust is used for the purpose that you intended.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
